Classes at Rock Valley College

Recently, Bob and Mike taught a class at Rock Valley College on Internet Security. The class covered Internet filters and firewalls, safely using online banking and social networking, and anti-virus programs as well. Over 30 people were in attendance!

On April 2nd, they will be returning to teach a class on Introduction to Windows 8. Those who attend will learn how to transfer knowledge from previous versions of Windows and incorporate it into this new version. This is a lecture presentation, not a hands-on class. Topics to be covered include: new features; new security upgrades; how to use short cuts; and how to access programs by mouse, keyboard, and touch screen. There will be time for questions and answers.

Seating for this class is limited, so sign up at Center for Learning in Retirement as soon as you can.
